Blizzak Review

Ive been a lurker for some time here. Lots a good info here. I wanted to give an opinion on snow tires for those who are on the fence on what to get. My car is an 07 335i sport package. The stock RFT, or any sport tire for that matter, is just dangerous and will get you nowhere. I recently moved to Main from KC. Prior to the move I was a nervous wreck about taking my car, even with snow tires, to the northeast. As many of you are aware, the new england area just got hit with a massive snow storm this weekend. I was in Boston during the start of the onslaught. Mass closed roads and public transit. Two years ago I ordered (through tire rack) Blizzak WS70 and Rial Salerno in 17" on all 4 corners. I drove the the worst of it, then drove around town in Portland, ME while they were still plowing roads. I never had an issue. I ripped up and down hills, stopped and started confidently, and past every front wheel drive POS on the road. Hung in there with the Subies. I nearly purchased a 4wd truck before I moved. So glad I didnt. Dont let rear wheel drive and your location be a deterrent. Get the proper equipment and enjoy!

Thank you for the personal review!

Always been a fan of the Blizzak WS70 for those looking for maximum snow and ice traction.
