Has anyone tried inpa n ncs on a latest windows 8 tablet pc?

Windows 8 tablets run Windows RT (ARM processor) and can only run applications from the windows store. They don't have the ability to install other desktop programs designed Intel or AMD processors. If you can find a touchscreen laptop running a non RT version of windows then it can be done. I would honestly recommend sticking to a laptop.

I suppose it depends on the tablet.

For example, the new Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 (killer device by the way...) runs with a 32-bit Intel x86 processor. So it would work for that. The Surface Pro would work as well.

But the Surface RT would not, since it's running an ARM processor, as already mentioned.
