Removal of door hinged compartment (Moved from Detailing section)

Curious if anyone has had any luck in removing the door compartment? From RealOEM it looks like only the cover is replaced and the piece itself is a part of the door panel. I know there's a spring/rubber bushing, but it seems "locked" in there other pieces..

I spilled some v8 and I can't for the life of me get rid of the smell. I guess that's why alot of manufacturers don't include cupholders in Europe

Hoping I don't need to get a whole new door panel...
