Fender work

Fairly new to the forum just have a couple questions for you stancers out there. I've got a square set up 18x10et25 (5mm spacer in the rear, soon to be 10mm). My question is on rolling, pulling and shaving. Is it better to just shave it or roll it and pull a little? Can you pull a little after you shave? Want some input before I just jump into it. Anyone?

depends what you feel more comfortable with. Usually a roll is good enough and if its not people just slightly pull it just enough to get clearance.

I understand that it's the shaving I don't get. Won't that sharp edge slice sidewall gnarly if your bottom out or anything?
