EXHAUST 3.5" Straight setup BUILD - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Guys trying a new exhaust setup.
i current have a chop'd up N54 catted exhaust with
a magnaflow dual 4" can.

I've track'd with it - daily driven it and it's
well mannered, aggressive and heavy.

I've gone through a phase with this N55 where
power has been max'd out. And what i'm look'n at next is
trying to get a solid, lean performance, daily driver.
Street bimmer made for the track as they say.

VRSF exhaust just came out with a single 3.5" straight mid-pipe
to a single dual can. Uses v-band clamps and looks
solid. I'm planing on using there mid section 3.5" and custom
the last section to dual 4" or dual single 4" - so straight pipe for the track.

and a second setup with cans to tone it down.
all would be easy to unbolt and bolt up quickly.

Isn't this essentially a similar setup to the HPF, with the exception of the potential option of cans for the street? Not that another similar option is a bad thing at all......the HPF sounds ridiculously bad ass!
