Is there anyway to add a usb hookup/ipod to my 2007 professional stereo non idrive that wont cost a fortune?

Thanks in advance.

I guess it all depends on your definition of "a fortune"...

There are several ways to do it that don't cost a fortune (but are probably more than a guy who has a 2007 and uses a USB stick will want to spend). However, you will need to spend a few hundred dollars minimum. You can try out the Grom, which I have not tested, but it will require recoding with an autologic. If you find a local Autologic dealer I will give you a heck of a deal on the Grom USB MOST BMW piece I have here NIB. Never have had a use for it.

VP How would you compare the Grom with Dension

VP How would you compare the Grom with Dension.
I would think you would be more likely to use the Dension
as its more mainstream and the new one has A2DP.
I know you have indicated that A2DP is not that hot but I upgraded
the Head Unit in my Integra with and Alpine that has A2DP and I was
superized that is wasn't that big of a Fidelity Hit or maybe its my old
and ringing ears.

By all accounts the Denison is awesome and totally worth it, to the degree that I'd almost consider eventually getting one to replace my factory bluetooth and USB (the chief upgrade being bluetooth stereo streaming).

I think the CHEAPEST way to get USB+bluetooth is the Parrot MKi series, for $150-230 or something depending on whether you want no screen, a small OLED screen, or a bigger full-color LCD. That said, the audio quality is pretty crappy because it includes its own built-in 20W/ch amp (fine when you're on a call and the quality is crappy anyway, much less fine trying to actually listen to music).
