Solved: 335i vs 335xi BBK compatibility. - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

For those who are looking to buy a BBK and wonder if they are crossed compatible between i and xi, there is a simple solution!

All you need is a new brake line made for the xi.
Stoptech sells them for $55-$60.

Part # : 950.34024 - this is the xi brake line.

And for the BMW Performance BBK all you need to do is get out a grinder and grind a 2mm notch into the ears on the spindle and it fits perfectly, it's a 30 second mod.

Wait, so you can retrofit the 328i BBK?
I wondered why they didn't have one for the e92 335xi....

want to bump this thread. i did not see a bmw performance bbk for an e92 lci.

is the 328 the bbk that people have been using on the e90 & e92 335i?

The 328 BBK is probably different. The 335i and xi are cross compatible though.
I wouldn't look into the 328 BBK.

Yup, very straight forward retrofit for the fronts.

Yes that is the kit people are using.
