Caliper Upgrade with stock rotors

Has anybody done a caliper only upgrade?

The only one I can find is the racingbrake one, but it seems like nobody bought it?

If any of you bought it, or rigged up your own upgrade please post up some pics

Thanks

Back from the dead! I'm also curious if anyone has used stock sized rotors with upgraded the calipers and if it was worth it.

wouldnt that kinda defeat the purpose of buying better calipers....??

if i got new, street/track types id for sure want bigger rotors to go along with them, ss lines, pads.....the whole 9 yards......

Well, BBKs cost a fortune and stock-sized aftermarket rotors, SS lines, pads and fluid are relatively cheap. Considering the size of 335 brakes I could be wrong but I don't see a need to go bigger, plus if you run 17" wheels it might not be an option.

From the sound of it you are just going for the looks. The short answer is no, there are not any caliper upgrades without rotors. You could go the BMW Performance route as a cheaper alternate to a full bbk.

That is true however the BMW Performance brakes are actually worse than the factory 335 brakes.

I don't know about the OP but I was talking about possibly a 6 piston caliper upgrade for use with stock sized front rotors. Didn't know if anything like that existed, guess not. Oh well, thanks for the info though.
