If its an Evo 9 the turbo is a bit better. This will make it a pretty close race. I wouldn't bet anything on it. One mess up at the roll being late and you will be playing catch up.

If the race is 40-140 you might edge him out if its an evo 9.

My setup at the time was 390-400WHP with methanol. All I had was an intake. No downpipes, No intercooler, stock exhaust.

The methanol helped me on the top end more then a pump gas car. I was probably running 18 PSI tapering to 15 by redline.

He showed you the dyno, was it a mustang dyno or dynojet?

if he's truly on stock turbo, you should beat him. I've kept up with a stock turbo Evo X w/ bolt-ons running 18 lbs (in my N52). Idk about if 24lbs is manageable.

Remember, they're HEAVY as all hell.

We have an AWD Dynojet. 2 of them actually. One with a link being built now and the other without. We have put down 380whp on an Evo X GSR with full bolt on's and a tune.

There was this turbo+NahS civic one time... he wanted to hustle me for 100$... told me he wouldn't use NahS, and asked for a 2 car head start and the jump... All i heard was a tin can when i flew past him... BMW

I didn't have tons of bolt ones. Just simply a full exhaust including a downpipe and a panel filter in the stock air box. Nothing more. Will try to find dyno sheet and upload it.

Ok guys ran into a problem. I just went to get lunch and got on it. The car started topping out on 10lbs until I turned car off/on. Then the car ran fine.

I have both an evo and a 335i. So for the evo it depends what stock turbo he is running. With a evo 9 stock turbo and FBO and camsyou can make over or close to 400whp. Low end it will be strong top end not so much since it is still a small turbo. But you should run and see how it goes.

I beat the evo by three car lengths. And also ran 2013 sti and left by bus lengths.

As a current stage 2 Cobb 335xdrive coupe owner/Automatic and a previous 2003 Evo 8 stage2 and 2006 Stage2 Sti owner my BMW would smoke both of them. The only benefit was being able to launch those 2 since they were stick and my 335 is Auto but at Atco raceway my 1/4 mile numbers don't lie. I never ran 116mph quarters in the low 12s in the Mitsu and Sub. Now the Evo was more fun to drive and beat on though.
