Not willy waving. If you want economy why buy a car that has 210kg of extra weight? Not sure why people got so offended. No one said diesels or 4 pots are rubbish.

Of course it does. But I don't think that a 335d would be too heavy. It would only weigh ~30kg more than a 335i right? So I don't believe that would be the reason that a 335d E93 wasn't made.

I never suggested weight was the only reason a 335D cab was never made.
I added a reason a BMW technician proffered quite some yrs ago when I asked,along with the torque.
