Question Manual back to Sport

When I'm in manual mode and I want to go to Sport, is moving the shifter back into Drive and then back over to Sport the only way to do this?

Get a manual? I know, I know. You don't want to hear this

Yea I was kinda thinking the same thing to. Should be a way we can go back to sport via the paddles.

tap the paddles in this sequence: left, right, left, right. then tap the brake pedal twice really quickly and tap the gas pedal once.

You can't go from manual to sport but you can be in D mode and use you paddles. After a few seconds of not using them it'll go back into D mode.

You've got to shift into 6th manually. Sport auto won't ever go into 6th gear. Even at 110 mph. Don't ask.

Bugs me, too. My prior C63 went into sport from manual simply by holding a paddle or the gear shift for a second.

One nice thing about the Alpina transmission software is that it does go into 6th in speeds above 70mph while in Sport Mode.

That's good info there, thank you for that. I'm scheduled to have the Alpina flash done next week. Pretty excited to see how I will like it.
