Got the smartTop installed. It's totally amazing. Makes putting the top up and down effortless. Used to take 22 seconds of holding the button while parked. Now I can lower top and unlock doors with 1 press of key fob, or control panel button and itll do its function while the car is moving off or on. Full control finally!

Been a while since I've updated.

Since then I've:

Disabled brake sensors
Coded out seat belt chime, door chime, iDrive warning and amber headlight bits

Vinyl wrapped chrome trim

Plasti dipped exhaust

Dipped the front lower mesh grills

Changed power steering, transmission, coolant, brake fluids and replaced oil housing gasket, valve cover gasket, RB PCV valve, and cleaned intake valves.

Gloss black kidney grills

VSRF 5'' intercooler

Yellow HID foglights and disabled amber corner lights

Big brake job. Replaced E-brake parts, new drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads all around

Next on the list.. Painting calipers black, diff fluid change and searching for the elusive cheap M-tech front and catted DPs...

Akebono Euro ceramics in the front and StopTech drilled slotted rotors. I forgot the brand name for the rear ceramics, Posiquiet maybe?

Looks good man. How did you disable the brake pad sensors?

I also have the 5" from vrsf and similar brake setup. Well done ...

Thanks. I'm having difficulty finding a front M-Tech bumper for cheap. They're about $1000 new, painted and shipped and I couldn't even afford half that so it probably wont happen soon. If I happen to get one I'll paint my FMIC gold most likely.

Other than the front bumper the only mods I'm considering for the future are downpipes and a clutch so I'm pretty much just waiting for my clutch to fail to give me an excuse to do the DPs.

Fancy pants wipers. I've actually gotten random compliments about how clean and clear my windshield is while driving in the rain; surprised me too.

Final result: looks cleaner and better. Hopefully it doesn't just peel and flake off after use.
