Where to find JB4 N55 Flex Fuel Add On

Iíve been able to find BMSís install guide but nowhere is the connector for sale on their website. Am I blind or does BMS not sell them anymore?

I am sure they changed the name because they got "I don't need them since I don't run E85." all the time. Yes you do need them to see your HPFP and to add the little bit of fuel adjustment you can have with the JB4.

Keep in mind at that after a certain date these were included when buying the JB4.

Iím trying to figure out if I need the add on because I bought the car with the JB4 already installed. I checked and I do have the Type B Harness. Did all type B harnesses come with the fuel pressure connector?

No, they didn't. Check your fuel rail or check a log to determine.

You're right. I had a brain fart and was thinking b meant it had it. I forgot I had a b originally that didn't have it and got a new cable set from Terry that did.

So the one that didn't have ff had plastic shielding. The new one I have that has ff has higher quality mesh shielding

Totally agree. Was a nice surprise when I received it. It's much more flexible and like you said looks great. Won't be prone to cracking like the other one. Also make the cables slimmer.

I ordered a data cable yesterday so I’ll be able to check logs soon. I have plastic shielding so no FF wire ): . Would you recommend I buy the newer harness or just buy the sensor and wire it in?

How much did Terry charge you to get the new harness?

Just because it has a plastic cover doesn't mean you don't have FF wires. Remove your cabin filter shroud and check the connector at the fuel rail near the firewall.

A new harness costs 250+100 core. Just buy the $25 add on connectors. Very easy to do.

I sent my used jb4 to be checked out when I had the original plastic harness. It was $125 for me to get the new mesh harness.

Damn itís $250 on the BMS website for a new harness. Do you think Terry would hook me up?

Just went out and did some logging. I'm getting values for fuel pressure high which I assume means I have a fuel pressure sensor.

HPFP puts off a spoofed value unless the wires are connected. Only way to know for sure is to check the fuel rail.

These look pretty specific to me but I could be wrong:

What am I looking for on the fuel rail pressure sensor?
