Transmission question

Alright so I know level 10 make a trans upgrade and a few other people are reaching out to other company's. but woul it be possible to use the trans from the 335D I believe it's the same trans from the v8 550,750?

I would think the low redline on the 335d would be an issue and so would all the programming. Buy a 6mt and solve the issue lol

ZF 6HP28 i believe is for the 335d.
yea i think youve shaken all us us autos a bit.
not sure about the redline. just trying to think out of the box here.

The 6HP28 is also used on the big Audi V8's in the sedans and Q7's so I don't think revs are an issue. The 28 means higher TQ rated, there is a 32 as well. It sure would be nice if these swapped in.

you cant use any other transmissions. Only option is to rebuild it. I have looked at all possible solutions and went with Level 10 at the end. so far so good.

I tend to disagree.

Hell, Manhart Racing in Germany can put the V10 with SMG in an E92 or even E46 chassis!! So a tranny swap HAS GOT to be possible. The question is merely what more would be involved: coding, driveshaft etc. And if it would be cost effective??
