I have an '06 330i. iDrive gave me the alert that my drivers side parking light was not working. Seeing as I have to replace the bulb, I figured it would be a good time to do an Angel Eye upgrade.

If I want bright white angel eyes, and to have them be the only lights on...it looks like the best option is the LUX 5.2 upgrade, and then the Daeos harness? Any input is appreciated. How difficult / time consuming of a project will this be?

LUX 5.2 or MTEC V.4 would be great choices but I wouldn't get Daeos harness. IMHO it's a waste of money, plus I read it's a hassle to install.. Installing the AE bulbs is fairly easy although I had my friend help me. Actaully he did most of the work lol!

I have a pair of brand new MTEC Angel eyes.

we have installation guides with pictures for DIY angel eye install on all E90's, the mtecs produce over 1000 lumens.

So what's the difference in the LUX and MTEC lights? What's the best suggestions for being able to light up the angel eyes only, with no other lights being on if not using a Daeos harness?

On an 06 you need the harness are you need to upgrade footwell module to FRM2 and have it coded. I would think harness is the best solution.
