install angel eyes rings or halos in a halogen housing?

Hello, so I currently own a 2006 BMW 325i with halogen (standard headlights) and would like to upgrade to angel eyes or halos. However I have no idea if it's possible. I have read other threads of replacing the headlight, but I rather not so I won't get any error codes or a cheap quality headlight. My question is could I install angel rings on a halogen housing? Or should I just forget about it? and if could anybody point me to the right diy. Thanks in advance!

Get LCI halogens then put angel eyes in. The way the pre-lci halogen bowls are constructed prevents you from putting in angel eyes. Instead of two full circles, there's some sort of weird semi circle highbeam connecting to the low beam bowl.

<- I put angel eyes in my halogen lights. Retrofitted projectors too.

I'm assuming you have an E90..... just do an LCI swap with xenon and angel eyes, then all you have to do is get coded.

You can get LCI halogens, should be plug and play without any coding.
I have the same dilemma as you, never seen anyone able to fit AE on Pre-LCI halogens.

Good luck!

thanks for the response guys!
So LCI would be the way to go? Would it work fine with PRE-LCI halogens? I don't want to have to go through cutting wires or anything like that. What do you guys think of DEPO Angel lights? anybody had any experience with these? Thanks again!

They are low quality headlights. Unless your willing to get better projectors and angel eyes installed your better off with lci headlights. LCI halogens are pnp, but lci xenons require some wiring.
