Various parts tuning Etc

As I've now sold my car 335i and bought an M6 these parts need a home.

Wagner "Big" intercooler kit and boost pipes to remove the piping bottle neck used for 6 months use from new. Sold

Wave trac LSD, brand new, never got round to fitting it! Sold

I am based in Nuneaton, if you have any questions please ask.

Diff for auto or manual.

Did you have anyone in mind for fitting it for you?

Phil,

fits Auto or manual up to 9/2007 and I think a fitting kit is needed for later cars. Cheers G.

I would take the intercooler but I just got the turbos rebuilt and downpipes fitted. It's going to be at least a month before I can get away with buying anything else for the car

Let me know if you still have the intercooler in a couple of weeks and I should be in a better position to do a deal.

Doex it need any modification or cutting to fit?

Cheers John. Do you happen to know where the adapter kit can be obtained, and at what cost? Cheers.

You'll have to have a read through this:

http://www.wavetrac.net/application_bmw335.htm

Mike,

To fit the Wavetrac, you'll need to check the part number of the diff being sold first, then (if it's the right one) purchase the fitting kit from Wavetrac.

You'll then need to find a garage (or similar establishment) who are able to either cut the diff housing and install the new piece (this requires some fairly serious machine work) or do the same but on a second axle, maybe from a crashed car or similar.

Frankly, if and when I do the diff, it will be via Birds. I'm not arguing (at all) that the Wavetrac is inferior as this process applies to the Quaiffe as well, but I don't believe Wavetrac has ever had the support it needs in the UK. I haven't been able to find a reliable fitter who can quote for and supply the whole thing as well as fit it and THAT is what you need or else it is going to be all on you.

ALL of the garages referred to on the Wavetrac site (in the UK) are VAG specialists and the Wavetrac is a well known application on simple, FWD setups. I have called all 4 of the suppliers listed last time I checked and NONE had any experience or interest in working with the Wavetrac products for BMW's.

Just to clarify for those that don't know, this particular unit will fit :

E9X 335i M/T
E8X 135i M/T
E9X 335i A/T <9/2007

Fitting kit is NOT required for vehicles prior to March 2007.

Sorry, yes. If I was at all unclear, my last reply was for Mike specifically, as he and I both have DCT cars which are the least common of all in respect to LSD fitment.
