Synter Sunningdale - Battery Coding

Hi guys

Replaced my battery for a slightly different one (72Ah rather than the 70 on the original).

I understand I need to get the battery registered, Synter have quoted me approx 60.

Do you think this is about right?

Also is there a Synter Rep now that Anneka is gone?

I tried a search with no joy

You might be better off buying the OBDII cable and doing it yourself (~50) then you can check your own fault codes in the future

Anneka left last year to start her own business, and as I far as I'm aware there is no rep on here.

Don't forget if your car is over 4 years old it's eligible for a dealer discount on service and parts anyway

There is no option for 72Ah coding on BMWs.
BMW may have quoted the price for resetting the battery charging system but not registering 72Ah battery on 70Ah car.

If you battery comes with 3-5 years warranty, I would not bother to get it coded.
If it goes faulty, you will be covered under warranty.

Thanks to you all...

I have decided to go with the cable/Software listed in this thread and do it myself

Garage List
For such a small difference in battery I wouldn't bother coding the car as such!!
