Just a heads up to those looking at leasing...
I was just looking at the leasing offers BMWUSA.com has and they've really lowered their prices for the E9x class.
http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...offer=leasing# 2013 BMW 335i Coupe: $369*/month for 36 months. $1,500 Lease/APR Credit and $750 Loyalty Cash included in payment. $369 First months payment $3,000 Down payment $0 Security Deposit $725 Acquisition fee $4,094 Cash due at signing 2013 BMW 335is Coupe: $439*/month for 36 months. $1,500 Lease/APR Credit and $750 Loyalty Cash included in payment. $439 First months payment $3,500 Down payment $0 Security Deposit $725 Acquisition fee $4,664 Cash due at signing I looked at this same cars back in December and the 335i Coupe was roughly $479 a month and the 335is was $549 a month with the same options and money down. Why so aggressive? Is it because the new models are coming in this year? Either way...I think it's a killer deal for a nicely equipped 335i Coupe. Just needs Sports Pack. |

You sure about that?
I am pretty sure the 335i was 379 and the 335is was 449 both with 39 months in December. This month they each went down $10 a month and went down to 36 months instead of 39. |

Is there anyone on here that has leased in Illinois? I asked a BMW dealer about leasing once and they told me that in Illinois and Texas (only two states in the country) you pay sales tax on the entire value of the vehicle, not simply the value of the vehicle that you're "using up" over the course of the lease. Not sure if it was part of a sales pitch or what, but I'd have to think that makes it harder for dealers to get people into leases in these two states.

You can get a coupe or convertible for the same price sedans were before. If someone doesnt mind driving the old body style or cant warm up to the new one, deals to be had on the old one. Like me personally I never warmed up to the Acura RL after the Legend, that was 17 years ago lol.

I took advantage and leased a 335is coupe over the weekend for 622 a month tax in, with not a penny out of pocket.
