Needs help on Bavarian Technic
which functions (actual value, activation, commands) I should execute with ignition on only (engine not running), and which ones to execute with engine idling (running)?
Also, how to bleed brakes with BT tool? (rep mentioned brake pump activation under stability contol unit's activations section in the email but not sure how to incorporate it during brake bleed procedure) TIA for any answers. ![]() |

Thats a big list of things, so in the end i would just common sense when doing activations and commands. Actual values can be viewed any time. Also I believe the bleeding procedure with the dsc pump is only meant for people who got lots of air in the system(ie sucked air in empty reservoir). The best way to bleed is the old two person way or with a power bleeder.

I'm not sure which ones are suppose to be done when running, but I did all of them with the engine not running. If it was not giving any data or not performing the task then I turned the engine on.
That is the most conservative approach. The above poster is right, too many to go through so use common sense or use my approach. |
