Yes there are other options out there but this is for much much lower cost. These bulbs cost me 40$ on eBay. Time will tell but the install is pretty simplistic on the pre lci e90, it doesn't take much to do.

Depends on what e90 you got, PRE-LCI you gotta remove the fender liner, then remove the box housing the AEs (two clips, just use two flatheads), remove two Torx bolts (its the typical BMW smallish ones), unmount the AEs, remove the plastic housing, reassemble the AE, tighten bolts, put the seal back on the box housing, replace your fender liner, and then repeat for the other side. 0.5 out of 5 difficulty lol.

I got mine from ebay too, for the $ they aren't bad at all..Only thing is that my right side just burned out after a year.
