Some one jump on this, you can run this open or closed. If you want the DCI affect - air sucking, you can run it open ie cover off and it will not suck up much engine bay heat like the DCI when the car is not moving. The aFe intake will still be force fed "direct" ambient air for better performance, and turbo effieciency. It uses the stock snorkle
