Change Procede from 6AT to 6MT

I bought a procede on the forums and it's a rev2.5 with 5v but it says on the package 6AT and I have a 6MT. I have not seen anywhere in the program to change it, do I have to send it back to have Vishnu change it?

Can I use it as is?

AT maps can work on MT. (However MT maps can't work on AT).

It's ok to leave it on for now.

When you have the means, you need the USB Cable to connect the PROcede to your laptop.

You will then go on http://procedetuning.com/BMW/n54/dow...downloads.html

Which stems from www.Vishnutuning.com

You will then download the user tuning interface and you will download the latest maps and firmware. (Aggressive 9-10) at this time.

Once you open up the interface you will need to connect to your procede while the ignition is on, and engine is off.

You will then upload the new firmware and appropriate maps for an MT.

There is a downloadable instructions overview which I think may help you for those last few steps.

Perfect, I downloaded the tuning interface but have not hooked the procede to the laptop yet. I just poked around in the program but didn't see anything about switching to MT but you have answered all my questions and I think I get it.

Thank you!!

Like Jeff indicated, the map dictates AT or MT. You'll see the map options with your download. If you need help feel free to reach out to us for assistance.
