 Many service procedures are easy with the right tool--and darned near impossible, without it. Case in point: The Schwaben thin-walled deep-well spark plug socket is designed with the BMW N54/N55 3.0L in mind. The narrow plug tube in the 3.0L engine is not wide enough to accept common plug sockets, which can stick in place. Really stick. The Schwaben thin-wall design fits easily in the plug hole.
