It's that time of the year again.....Insurance Renewal

Well...it's time to renew the car insurance and like most people I'm trying to shop around to find the best price.

Right now I have Geico and they seem to be the cheapest with insuring an e90 335i.

Who do you get the cheapest insurance from?

Gotta agree with you. I'm 22 with a new 335i in California and Geico was by far the cheapest.

USAA use to provide me with the cheapest insurance. (flawless driving record + online driver safety course + good insurance rate = me paying $98/mos for full coverage $500 deductible)
When i bought my house, my new insurance company provided me with a multiple policy discount, including my mortgage/home insurance, bringing my monthly bill to $92/mos and same coverage and deductible. This local insurance company though is TradeWinds, not sure if there is a branch or anything similar in your area though. :/
Good luck!

I have my insurance through Allstate.
I chose the 'Platinum' plan with full coverage and higher limits.

Costs me $89 and change a month. Cheapest I could find and the policy has all 'extras' like accident forgiveness, cash-back every 6 months and $100 off my deductible every 6 months.

I get about $30 bucks back every 6 months... it's not much but hey if the insurance company is going to send me money i'll take it.

It depends on different factors like property coverage, medical insurance and other options.
The best deal I get is when I personally visit an Insurance dealer.
They can do a lot of things for you which you will never get on phone or online.
I go to different agents and show each other's deal.

I found the cheapest through Geico being 21 and just about to turn 22 and I end up paying right now $615 every 6 months with kinda average limits and a $1000 deductible. My main goal here is to see if there are other companies that I haven't looked into, that I should..

I have USAA and for my 335i and my wife's 2012 Highlander SE 4wd, I pay $130.00 a month. My comprehensive deductible is $50.00 and my collision deductible is $100.00. I am insured in NC. This year USAA sent me a $290.00 dividend check. Been with them since 1997.

Both GEICO and State Farm have quoted me a slightly lower rate than what I currently have with Allstate, however I choose to shop based on service quality and competency when handling claims rather than price alone. Allstate was wonderful to work with when we had $30,000 in comprehensive claims for our vehicles and over $60,000 in damage to our house last summer. Neighbors who had Geico and State Farm had nothing but trouble. So for that reason I have decided that it's worth a few extra bucks per month for peace of mind. I pay around $270 per month for the house and both cars.

Threads like these make me sad. I'll be paying close to $8000/year when I buy again in April/May. Living in Ontario, especially Toronto, with an accident on your record screws you!

Paying $95 a month for my 08 335i with Progressive but I just got it and plugged in the snapshot device that monitors my driving for 30 days, so I have to take it easy but at the end of those 30 days I send in the device and get 30% off if Im good.
So under $70 a month if I get the full discount

Where do you live? no wheres ville? Cause that is so low with that deductible that you either live in a small population where theres no crime or accidents really or the BS meter is pegging.

possibly $118 a month per car lol.. just a thought..

and whatever you guys do, you people with the nice premiums, NEVER move to Brooklyn.. "Today, if it were an independent city, Brooklyn would rank as the fourth most populous city in the U.S., behind only the other boroughs of New York City combined, Los Angeles, and Chicago." .. Insurance companies compile data like this and just and charge a FORTUNE.

USAA: I'm 22 and pay $89 for my E93 (500 deductible + extra, TX). But I also "drive" really fast expensive things for Uncle Sam so I think USAA cuts me break.

Wow I'm getting SHAFTED... I pay $240/month for my 335. I'm 23, one speeding ticket, but have garage parking, no accidents, car alarm discounts added on. Guess what I'm doing tomorrow!

I know it's strange -- I hear of all the great deals others get on here and I call and it's way more than I pay now -- it's a strange science the insurance companies use to come up with their quotes.

I called State Farm, Liberty, Travellers, and Allstate. Safeco insurance was at least 200 cheaper per year than them all.
