That is my next task. I like Bridgestone and Continentals for starters. Have heard good things about the V12's as well. Research time!

Now that spring is not to far around the corner it is time to start looking for rubber for these VOLK's.

First is a size question. From some initial research it appears that a good tire setup is 235/35's on the front and 265/30's on the rear. Is this the best tire size? I am also only looking for tires that offer the rim guard as I don't like the rim edge sticking out pat the rubber.

In terms of brand, I am looking at Continental Extreme Contact DW or Hankook V12's. Any other non RFT's that I should be looking at? Is it work the premium to get the Michelin Pilot Sports? If it is, I don't mind spending the extra money.

Thanks,

Well, its March 27th and I couldn't wait another day.

My apologies for the crappy picture quality but it was dark outside and I wanted to snap a few quick pictures on my ride with her new summer shoes on. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The wheels are so light and the hyper silver finish is brilliant!

The KW v1's are ordered along with the BBK from Brembo. Will have that done next month...more pics and a proper photo shoot to come.

Clean set up very OEMish. Could use some spacers IMO especially the front.

On a side not notice the no reflectors in your msport bumper. You get it from Europe ?

Thanks. I am still debating on the front spacers. I have a little rubbing up front and wondering if the spacers would kill two with one by improving the look and eliminating the rubbing.

The M-Sport kit is the OEM European one and as such does not have that ugly front reflector everyone hates....

Have you checked out the newer version of the Progressive ME? It came out couple years ago. Check here:

I like the M3 version better, which comes with a lip

Have 19" Wheels and wanted to know if could go to 18" wheels. The roads in this area have already cost me over $1,200 for a new tire and rim. 2009 BMW 335i Convertible

Thanks. I absolutely love them. The car feels like it has a little extra zip! Mostly a mental thing but I am still smiling.....the quality and finish of these rims is fantastic.
