Ebay D1S bulbs

Anybody bought any 6000K D1S bulbs from ebay? If so and you like your bulbs and they have lasted without any error codes or anything funky going on could you recommend me to a set or seller? I thought about buying modmy3's bulbs, but I can't justify why spending all the extra money on bulbs that are basically the same no-name bulbs I'd be buying from ebay for much cheaper. Thanks

No, and ALL kinds of problems you can potentially expect - from early failure to insidious UV emissions. If you can get brand name bulbs you can trust are actually brand name, then maybe. But counterfeits abound!
Google HID UV TEST - there are a bunch of lightbulb-nerd types (as we are BMW-nerd types... a fact not an insult...) who have performed some pretty spectacular scientific tests on HID bulbs with ratings all over the map. Philips and Osram-Sylvannia usually set the bar.

I would just go with the modmy3 bulbs. Lots of forum members have good experience which you can't really say for ebay bulbs. If you're actually looking for quality bulbs from a reputable seller I would get the Osram CBI 5000k bulbs. More lumens than stock yet with a nice white color. They are costly but they are worth it. Other than that I would go with modmy3 over ebay.
