Combox Media Retrofit HELP

So I retrofitted the combox into my '08 E92 6FL with CIC retrofit. I re-pinned the connector from the TCU into the 26 pin connector for the combox. I installed the bluetooth antenna, the same as the TCU. I installed the black cable (USB) from the MULF2 into the combox. I had 2 unused coaxial cables (like BT antenna) that were unused that used to go to the TCU. There is an open port for a blue cable (6NR) which I am not retrofitting at this time.

I then added $6VC to the vehicle order (VO) for CAS and NFRM modules. I also replaced #0909 with #0910 (MY2010.5 for combox year.) I also added -TELD, hoping to remove the SOS warning on start-up (didn't work.) MEDIA also shows up as a module now, but I can not read it (says not responding.)

Current status:

Upon startup I receive SOS warning, and a "no audible warnings" warning. I cannot play radio or usb music or produce any sound through CIC. The navigation and other features work. When I pull up the phone section it has a bluetooth checkbox and if I check it, it continuously says activating but never finishes.

Help please!

Update:

I redid the above with the JB4 on map 0 (so that the coding would stick) and also read and coded the CIC in expertmodus profile and now on my CIC. There is no more telephone option and also I get the startup warning that I coded out a long time ago.

Update 2:

Well upon further reading it appears that I need to terminate the MOST connection in the MULF2. I ordered the 2 parts to do this and will report back results... now I am without radio until it arrives.

Should I be doing something with the wire connector going into the MULF 2? So far I only used the black cable (USB) from the MULF2 and now plan on terminating the MOST connection.

Update 3:

Terminated the MOST connection from the MULF2. Pinned out aux/usb wires from MULF 2 and added to combox. After doing this and recoding nothing changed. I removed the +TELD from the VO and nothing changed. I removed the $6VC and telephone showed back up in the menu, but bluetooth would no activate. I readded the $6VC and am back where I was with: No warning tones, SOS malfunction, no telephone menu, no music working.

Also I still cannot read the MEDIA module. Says it is not responding.

Do you have Logic 7 or Individual AMP in you car? it sounds like the MOST Ring-Bus is not closed. I think the Media Combox is the reason for that. Maybe the pin's in the Connector to Combox are wrong, or the Combox is dead.

How to check? Disconnect the Most Connector from Combox, take out the two orange MOST-Wires from the Connector and hold them together. If you have Audio again than you have found your problem for that.

sorry for my bad englisch!

Logic 7. Thanks for the tips. I will try to plug the MULF MOST into the combox and terminate the TCU MOST. I will also try putting the two ends together haha. If none of this works I will try sending the combox back to the dealer for another...

Update:

Well it turned out the problem was a bent pin in the combox that supplied power to the combox which was in turn disrupting the MOST network and disallowing sound.

I then fixed the pin and tried again. I now have sound and music. I can also play music through my ipod in the center console (6FL.) I can now read and code the combox. I did so and it went successfully. Although nothing changed within the CIC menu. Still missing a telephone section and I still have the old BMW ASSIST. Also when I select bluetooth under the CD/Multimedia menu, nothing happens.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this? I tried adding +TELD to the VO.

Should I be removing anything from my VO with the retrofit? I broke up my VO order below.

Update:
I have it now so that the telephone menu shows up. I was able to pair the car with my iphone, but after pairing it sits indefinitely at connecting. Although the iphone says it is connected, but no features are available. Also I still have a BMW Assist menu, but not Office.

I think that maybe my CIC software version is at fault. There are both daten files and CIC firmware correct? I need daten v42 and firmware ???? In the daten folder I have CIC.10-CIC.19, which I believe means I have v42. Although when I am coding the CIC in NCSexpert, it shows CIC.C0A, A_CIC.IPO, CIC.PRG. Also I am unsure of how to check my CIC firmware version.

From looking at the Coding-Index i think your CiC has to old SW.
Codingindex schould be C16 or higher. (comes with V41)

If you have access to a MOST-Device (OPS/OPPS/ICOM) then you could flash the CiC by yourself.

In that order:
1. Adress 63 (Kernel)
2. Adress 62 (Gateway)
3. Adress A0 (Applikation)

Trying to find a dealer that will do this firmware update on a retrofitted CIC. Will update. I would also like to thank Alex of Bimmer Retrofit for helping me out every time I have run into a problem thus far.

I had to ship it here to get the firmware updated. http://bimmerretrofit.com/ Any shop that has Autologic CAN do it, just a matter if they will or not. The dealer cannot because their software doesn't like the CIC retrofit.
