F30 M Steering Wheel on a E9X

Thinking about doing it. Is it even possible? The f30 m wheel just looks so much more sporty and elegant. My e9X just looks so bulky compare to the f30. If it possible, would you get it and what do you think? haha

I don't think it matches the e9x interior with that wheel.

I dont think is possible due to the steering wheel contorls that are on there, it probably uses different harnesses.

i mean I don't know anything.. but the E9X Sport Wheel looks like much more of a drivers wheel, while the F3X wheel looks just elegant, not too sporty..

If anything, you can try to get the e9x M wheel.

Everything is possible, but if you wana get it, make sure you also get brushed aluminum interior trims so that the steering wheel would match your interior.

I would be interested to know as well. I like the F30 much better than mine for sure. My steering wheel is not even the sport one. Its kind of boring. Keep us posted!

I'd be more concerned with removing all of those ///M logos from my car than with changing the steering wheel. But that's just me.

Looks good but the integrated controls probably have a different harness. Needs to be checked with the guys on the F30 forum, but as the car are still under warranty/lease, not many people have started to dismantle them to see what's inside.

You will also need a replacement airbag, so its not a cheap mod, as this is an expensive part. And again, the wiring harness is possibly different, which would make the conversion stupid at this point (just get a Sparco wheel if you don't keep the airbag).

I'm sorry but that F30 steering wheel looks like it belongs to Mustang. Keep your existing steering wheel, it looks much better.

it looks out of place. e90 has a better look. F30 steering wheel looks like VW Steering wheel.
