2011 335is Rear Tow Hook Cover Replacement

Searched around, trying to find a painted one, besides going to the dealer and maybe getting bent over, anybody sell rear tow hook cover for the 335is rear bumper???

Fell off somewhere between work/home last night...sucks.

Assume it is what is called the M-Sport bumper on the car. Seen pictures of it, but can't find one to purchase.

Maybe someone in my office building has one...haha

You know....this little piece...arrghh...

Well, found ECSTuning actually carried these. Found a place that has matching alpine white and some clear coat in a spray can. So for about $50, getting two of these, and paint/clear coat. Have a spare.

Going to silicon it into place this time..in case anybody thinks they will just pull it off. Plus, keep it from just popping off while driving like it did on the way home. Unless somebody ran out into traffic at a light and nobody saw them steal it..haha...

It will take some work, and likely damage the cover without a tool. Hope the force with silicon will deter someone and they will just move on without doing anything stupid like messing up the bumper.

Yeah, like I said, ECS has most of these on their site. I found a thread that for about $30 you can get matching spray paint/clear coat and just do it yourself. All that for under $50 and you can have a spare.

Or, you can find a MTech around and take theirs..haha...

http://www.automotivetouchup.com/

They mix it up and make the colors for many vehicle brands, almost all from what I can tell.

Shoot, you could probably just get some bright white spray paint, and I already have some clear coat around, and it would be "close enough". But that method would match it perfectly.

Then, I'm going to silicon mine is place. You could still remove it, but will take some effort. I live in Florida, as Harrychiu012, we don't need a tow hook. No snow, no getting stuck really...if I need a tow hook, must have blown and engine at the track..haha

Thanks guys..never knew something so simple is so hard to find. You can get painted side markers all day/night, smoked side lights etc..but the tow hook cover?!?! haha
