BMW power pack - jb4. Opinions?
Hey guys just bought a 2010 335i and it came with the bmw power pack. Now I know it's a moderate stock tune but my question is if I go jb4 will I notice a big difference since I already have the power pack tune. Also is it a pain to take off when you go in to the dealer for service? Thanks.

Pain in the ass to take off - no. After 1 time you can get it down to about 15-20 mins in and out.
Difference in power over "power back". Hell yes. Map 5 will blow your mind, add some e85 into the mix and your wont be able to stop grinning.

i have jb4 pnp g5 the best part about it is you dont need to take it off. You can go back to stock from your steering wheel on the fly. do some reading on this 4 me jb4 was a no brainer. my favorite mod so far. there is alot of great tunes out there find what works for you . good luck

Yeah, everyone is correct. You will not stop grinning and turning it off via the steering wheel is pretty awesome. Actually, changing the tune from the steering wheel while driving is pretty incredible when you think about it. The meth integration with the JB4 is impressive as well and one of the reasons I enjoy it so much. Once the Vargas kit goes in, the JB5 will come in handy.

Junitos, you do need to take it off when you go into the dealer for serious issues if your still have a warranty.
A tech will find that JB4 in 5 mins if he wants to and your car can be flagged in the BMW system for having a tune. when in doubt, take it OUT.
