Even if I was driving a taxi I would avoid the BQE. The crappiest highway in NY in my book.

I hit that fucker last week going home. I swerved at the last min but still caught some of that pothole and it still sounded like a shot gun going off in the cabin.

That ain't anything though. I had a pothole in front of my job on Flatbush Ave that I could stand in.

Garage List
The BQE is all F'ed up, you'd think they would finally fix it. The grand central is full of pot holes after this past snow storm, watch out for that one too

bronx river going southbound, towards exit 5 (to get to rfk bridge), that's a bad stretch of dips & holes that got me a couple times recently...but back to the topic of bqe, yes its horrible lol.

I avoid the BQE like its a plague, I popped two tires and cracked one rim on there a year ago heading to BK just before you get on the Kosciuszko bridge, not to mention there were like 5 other cars pulled over for the same reason. I had to exit to a local street and sat in the cold for 5 hours luckily I found someone nice enough to bring me two spare wheels after which was too small for my oversized calipers and they had to make a second trips to get a second pair of 19" wheels from a 5series in order to get me home.

The roads are never gonna get better. When spring comes all they are gonna do is patch it with gravel. So the potholes will be gone but the roads will be bumpy as hell. Then next winter rolls around and the potholes come back bigger than before and the cycle continues.

Is it me or it's because of the run flats also part of the reason?

I do avoid potholes when I can, in the 2013 altima I don't feel a thing it's so comfortable over various road conditions
