Hi everyone,

Just got back from my 1st oil change with my E90. I usually don't even bother getting a courtesy, but my office was short staffed today so I asked what they had available.

I was pretty impressed they actually gave me a selection between Mini Cooper, X3, and ofcourse an E90.

yup! 10 dollars each.but u don't need to fill up the gas when u return.

i have loaners all the time from autowest and i never get charged for it. not even for gas.

o, and ive gotten, e90, x3, camry hyrbid and pt cruiser......

BJ gives me the usual BS about how they only have E90 BMW 323i as their rental cars. The often say they are "out" and give you a rental through a rental agency. I know that's total BS too because they can't be all out of cars and they obviously give some people nicer cars as rentals.

I've gotten the usual assortment of rentals including Nissan Versa and Hyundai Sonata.

Heard of 7 Series owners getting a Toyota Camry. That's just dumb.

One of the reasons why I didn't go back to BJ for my new car.

Usually when you sign for insurance (or "rental" agreement)...it says you can't drive to the US. Or they may put restriction on how many kilometers you can drive. Gotta read the fine print.

In reality it may not make much difference if you go across the border and come back. But if you were to get into an accident in the US...or get asked by US Customs if you have authority from the vehicle owner to drive to the US...you might be screwed.

when i first went to bj i have got 325 cab or 325 sedans which i think is good enough but recently the best one i have got is 323 and a suzuki sx4 i think...i think next time im going to auto west...seems they have better courtesy cars

Yep BJ called me to tell me it is time for it's first oil change and I asked for a courtesy car but they say it is an express service and will be done in 2 hours. TWO FU<ing HOURS!!!!! WTF!! Luckily I have already done two oil changes

Camry and Matrix so far for me when I go in for the oil changes at BJ. I'd pay $10 to get a nicer ride if they were available but they've never offered it.

Just to let you guys know that Autowest does not charge for Courtesy car & gas anymore! When I got the car they told me there was no need to fuel up as long as the car is returned without the fuel light on!!! That was 2months ago and I'm going there again tomorrow - free of charge (gas + courtesy car). hahaha...............
