Hood latch failure
Hi,
In the beginning of this week, I tried to fill up the windshield fluid but could not open the hood. Passenger side hood latch did not release when I pulled the tab right above driver side footwell. Is there a way to open the hood such that I can replace the passenger side hood latch along with the cable (if necessary) ? Thanks, |

Have someone push down on the hood while you pull handle. Keep the handle pulled and then have them pull up on the hood. Once you get it open hose the latch down with silicone lube and actuate the latch to work it in. Before you close the hood lock the latch and make sure it operates freely. If its still sticking then replace the latch.
