Best Cheap Downpipes - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Looking for some help on DP's not willing to spend too much I was looking into some Racelands ones. Dont want to mess with gaskets, clamps etc. Want something thats a easy bolt on to the stock exhaust. Thanks

I bought PLM from eBay and they are excellent.

3" and mandrel bent no welds.

You have to understand that a pipe is a pipe and that's it. don't get sucked into marketing. Some companies are outrageous. Also 2.5" is also perfect and racelands are very good

I like the racelands for $200 you can't go wrong. Are they 2.5 or 3.0? And how about the welds?

i did originally buy racelands but never fitted them they are 2.5"

you will gain even with 2.5". depends if your later going for a cat back exhaust

also you will need a DP fix either on a tune like Procede etc or an add on fix

Not gonna be doing any catback exhaust. And I have JB4 think it has a DP fix. Maybe I should get a 3.0 DP...

I just looked at them they dont look to be that good quality but Ive never seen them in person.

I got my VRSF and they look damn good for under $350

If you get a 3in DP it'll still taper down to 2.5in if I remember correctly. Unless you get custom FULL 3in DP's that bolt onto 3in pipes.

My VRSF get installed saturday and I too will only be doing the downpipes and no other exhaust mods.
