I also have VRSF's and the quality is great along with the customer service. Tiago responds to emails almost instantly and is extremely helpful with any questions you may have. In the past i've even gotten replies from him at 11:30 at night after emailing him a question. I run the xi DP's and FMIC on my car and again i'm a huge fan of both the product and the company

So I narrowed it down to either the BMS or the VRSF. At first I wanted to spend $200 but rather spend the extra and have a better product and in a 3 inch piping. The install looks ok but do I have to pull the steering column bolts out during install. May car is a E90 sedan. How much power will I have approx with JB4, DCI, and DPs?

Don't think you can go wrong with either one. I'd get whichever one is in stock and cheaper shipped to you.

Keep in mind that VRSF announced yesterday:

Quote:
We don't want our N54 guys to feel left out. Here's a teaser of our new downpipe design before machining. They'll incorporate an investment cast 304 grade stainless steel design & a seamless 3" mouth from flange to pipe which is a first on any N54 downpipe on the market.

These are going to replace our existing N54 downpipes and will bolt up to anything that utilizes the stock downpipes. They're a stock downpipe replacement.

Not sure about pricing yet, still a bit early. I'm expecting to have a sample in hand mid next week and final production done in 6-8 weeks.

It does neck down to 2.5" at the mid-pipes to accommodate all the stock/aftermarket exhausts. The inlet/outlet of the DP's are much smoother than can be made with a conventional flange/pipe setup and the cast design overall is much higher in both quality and precision.

Was going to wait until a completed sample was delivered and fitted before posting here but the pics/more info are listed on our FB page:

Investment cast out of 304 grade stainless steel. Take note of the seamless transition between the flange and the pipe. The cast design also allows for less sections overall which will improve flow, reduce manufacturing time and drastically reduce any chance for variance/fitment issues. I believe these will be the only 3" cast down pipes currently available on the market

Please keep in mind, these pictures are before machining/finishing.

The BMS pipes are pretty nice actually. I got my first shipment the other day and the quality is pretty impressive.

Any plans to ceramnic coat these cast DP's?

Props for bringing quality cast parts to this platform.

No cost info yet. They do cost a bit more due to the necessary molds for casting but these will certainly be the new standard in quality for downpipes for this platform.

Yes sir! The cast design also allows us to create a better flowing transition to the mid-pipes as well

The great thing about being cast is they are thicker which should quiet down the wastegate rattle quite a bit as well. These are about twice as thick as the conventional piping material used for downpipes.

Looks like the new vsrf will be nice. If you want new you cant go wrong with VSRF or BMS. You could always go the used option. I just picked up a set of used CP-E's for 250 to my door.
