Katchup's JB e92 335i - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Have owned dsm's and evo's for the last 10 years. Friend locally has a BA m3 and got me looking. Sold my BA evo X MR and saw this beauty on here. Added a touch of my flavor and look to add more soon. I Searched for about 3 months for the right car and finally found it. Love the car!! So far I've installed slotted rotors, installed the JB4 programmer for quick access, OEM Black Shadow kidneys, installed all new OEM emblems, OEM carpets, New OEM arm rest, took the tint bar off, and just a couple other little things in the glove box and played with all the settings. Had all the maintenance done on it when it first arrived. Water pump went out after about 3 months of owning it, so I took the task on myself and saved almost $1500 in labor. Def a different beast then DSM's. Have had my fair share of battles with misfires but(knock on wood) seems fixed for now.

Future plans: Some new wheels(ccw, bbs, work, etc), 7" FMIC, downpipes(AR downpipes now ordered), and take it to the local drag strip a couple times

1) Turn off seatbelt chime for driver
2) Turn off seatbelt chime for passenger
3) Disable iDrive “accept” message on startup
4) Turn off iDrive/Cluster Fasten Belts Warning
5) Rolling of windows and sunroof up with the key (holding lock)
6) Automatic Unlock when key is removed / car is turned off (no double pull!)
7) Allow the windows to move up and down even with door interruption
8) Turn off amber corners when headlights on
9) Turn off headlight corner LED’s when headlights on
10) Enable all four front headlights for brights and brights flashing
11) LCI Retrofit / Bulb Error removal, voltage change to correct fast blinking
12) Enable BMW Efficient Dynamics Display
13) Add the digital velocity to Non‐M cars (V=## mph)
14) Turn off the annoying “key in ignition” gong
15) Welcome lighting changed to fast fade from slow fade on front angel eyes and rear tails

Are your angel eyes complete replacement rings? If so did you do it yourself, how did you find the job of splitting the lights etc?
