Smashes right into my car while we are trying to get in almost hits my wife and baby in the process and cops still aren't here. I have this guys plate number so he wont be happy running from the scene.

that's the first thing i always keep in mind when a situation like this arises. memorize the plate.

Yeah 6 points on the license for hit and run. Make them pay had the same thing happen to my five series.

Turns out this guy lives 2 blocks from my house and he has the same insurance provider. Makes things much easier.

Lol I found my headlight washer cover like 15 feet from where my car got hit. Wonder if its worth anything ...

Its great that you n your family are safe and the guy is caught.

I would keep that headlight washer cover as a backup for future. Just in case the new one falls off, very rare but we have seen falling covers from front bumper tow hook.
