Alpina Flash, Security Updates and ELV trouble shooting - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi Guys

I am proud to annouce that with the subsequent measures I am going to offer following flashes from now on;

1- Alpina Transmission Flash for 335i
only if you have N54 engine and built is 03/07 and onward
2- Alpina Engine Flash for 320D
only if its pre 03/07 with dpf
3- Security update on all 3 / 1 series (may extend to other series).
useful for 2005-2007 owners who are excluded from dealers list
4- ELV toruble shooting / Steering wheel lock error
5- Updating any module.
6- Any retrofits as per dealer instructions with dealers equipment.

I will update these details on the Coding thread. Since it is different than coding (its flashing), therefore I thought to start the new thread.

Would u be able to an Alpina update on it? Is it worthwhile doing the security update on my car considering it doesn't offer much and my obd port has been moved ?

Done it on 2 cars. Going to do it on another one which may come soon to me. Then its going to be mine (LCI xenon retrofit). You can be next.

Its like a enhanced ECU. Put your VIN on the website and see if you have DPF.
I doubt you have, but if you have the it is worth of having more power (when your warranty expires).

Not really, unless you want to put the obd back.

Sorry, missed your thread. Sure matey, just let me know in advance as I will have to make the spacers to fit into your OEM boxes.

I'm sure that Alpina transmission flashing will change your driving experience.

AFAIK, you will need to change it to FRM2 for the high beam to be activated.
I can register the new FRM2 to your car, update it, and then code it to adjust the lack of self leveling lever arms.

Saying that might be a good idea to remove the excuse of insurance company using it as a reason

Id want to keep the self leveling too as I plan on retrofitting this too

Couple of big threads on it over at BB. Transforms the car apparently from what I have read. Smoother gear changes , faster gear changes. Also added M S and D gear displays.

Not sure mate as the shift points would be different on a Diesel.
