Well it is just about on us, loads of testing to come before the big kick off in March. What are your predictions for this year?

Used to love this time of year. Going to Valencia, Jerez and Portimao for testing. Abit of winter sun. My new job doesn't allow it.

Ask me after day 3 from Jerez

I don't see much changing from last year to be honest. Maybe Mclaren might find some reliability. I don't see Merc and Hamilton doing anything special, but look forward to seeing their new nose. Anything will be better than last years!

I didnt realise this was a spectator event? I looked for coverage last year and hardly anyone there.

Depends how quick they come out of the box with so few rule changes. We had over a second on them towards the end of 2012. Might not of seen that on the qualy times but, my data for track conditions, race pace suggests it.

Didnt they just give up on their dog tho?

No they blamed the wind tunnel. More worrying is nobody spotted it earlier.

They are pretty much all spectator events now. Not like the old days. You pay something like....15euros for a days testing which includes a grand stand seat.

I am in the lucky position of being a photographer for winter testing.

I will be interested to see how Sauber got on with sponsorship over the winter. Considering how impressive they were last year, someone hopefully has snapped them up.

If the McLaren management team were as good as the car designers they'd have walked it last year. Huge advantage for most of the season but bad luck, cock ups, strategy and pit stops gave it to the RBR team with plenty of room to spare sadly.

At least the egomaniac as cocked off to the middle of the pack chasing the dollah dollah so everyone will be working as a team this year unlike last.

I guess as you work for RB it is what you like maybe Mercedes but not hamilton the judas whinging brat ,Alonso talented but another spoilt tosser .

After following F1 for 30 years + tbh I dont care as long as the racing is competitive

I would imagine RB /Mclaren/Ferrari as usual like the premier league and primera 1 in spain sort off gets dull you know Man utd /chelsea/city , Barcelona/Real
