What a fantastic video. I love to see all the manufacturing and sheer bloody-mindedness that goes into the detail of assembly - that sort of thing enables me to get my geek on. Love it.
I had a good friend that worked for Lola that nearly came to you guys (and I met one of his colleagues that actually did) and I loved getting the tour of their place (when they were still doing well)

The guy who came for a position at yours (my mate) is a guy called Gareth Moores - he was production manager (I think) at Lola Composites.

The guy who I said came to RBR didn't (I was being a knob) - it was Mercedes at Brackley he went to - I remember this now, because I met him at the Kossovan car wash and he started up the conversation asking about my car - he told me he'd just gone to work there and got a monthly allowance against a new Merc road car and which should he choose.

After being made redundant Gareth has now secured employment at Prodrive in Banbury.

Yeah, he would have been, he's been there donkeys years.
Early 30's, big old lump.

Back then he would have driven either an E36 M3 convertible or a P38 Range Rover.

If you were at Lola back then does that mean you know Carlo Sansone?

Ha ha!
Tell him Sheps says hello.
And ask him about the Christmas party where he was meant to be behaving himself (as the new boy) but ended up on stage, pissed, dancing with the pussycat dolls in front of his new boss.....

Yup, it's still there, but is empty.
It's such a shame, because Lola Composites was profitable. But, because it was intertwined with Lola cars (which was not) any potential purchase of the profitable arm fell at the 'due diligence' stage - no one wanted to be embroiled with the car side of the business.

I think vettel will again be very high in the standings as these cars are just an evolution of last years! I am a Hammy fan (when he's in the car, out the car he seems a ****) next season will be VERY interesting I think,

Sparky do you get paid to work there or do you just do it for fun? I would love to work with in an F1 team!

From the Ferrari pic on the prior page, is it back to pushrod suspension? That was quick

Looks much better than last year. The silly Tifosi can stop their whining now.

It's the Red Bull fans' turn! haha
