Split Suspension Boot? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Found this whilst fitting my spacers today:

Presumably this is supposed to be covering the damper?! Can you get replacement boots?

You don't need to. This boot isn't split, just a little wrinkled at the base. It will cover the damper once you lower the car. Raising the car extends the spring, exposing the damper rod.
