Active Autowerke |2012 N55 Flash Stage 1 Video

We flashed a 2012 335 n55 yesterday so I thought you guys would like to see just how it performs on the road.

Our flash is the only modification done to the car.

Not yet we are working on it though. I just wanted to show you how our tune runs with no other mods.

We did not get a baseline on a dynojet but our mustang showed 270.

Here is a Dyno jet of our n55 flash and downpipe. 93 oct- Temps 85

Looks smooth. ~50 whp over stock. Not bad. Torque is good too. Glad to see the n55 being unlocked.

Cool. Is it truly invisible for dealer visits.

Well with flash tunes there is no "hardware" on the car. So when you go in for the usual things, the dealer is pretty much "blind" to what is going on. However, there are some repairs that it wouldn't be invisible to.

For example, engine issues. If there is a suspected engine issue they will hook the car up to a system and the computer will do all these read-outs on what is going on with the car. If you have a tune they'll see that the settings/software on the ECU has changed. "They" being BMW because they ship these readings off to corp so that they can be reviewed and approved.

So if you are going in for an oil change, or something small, you should be safe with the flash being on the car. Anything more major than that, I'd go back to stock.

Exactly! They are also getting smarter and installing things like a flash counter. Bmw can now see how many times the car has been flashed and if they want to cross reference your service history they can.
