weird, looks like rear main seal

clean everything off with some brake cleaner and see where the oil leak starts...

Check everything up top first. If your rear main seal is leaking and you just had it replaced, I'd be cashing in on the warranty for this deal.

Use a Mirror with a light on it so you check the backside of the valve cover gasket. It could be your oil pan gasket, but those don't go until you get past 150k from what I understand. In fact, a lot of BMW's make it close to 200k before you look at this gasket.

How many miles are on your 335?

Just because the seal is new does NOT mean it was installed correctly

Well I just performed some maintenance and what not, So i will clean the engine bay and underneath the car and go from there. Do you think a steam cleaner can do any damage?

Any luck? I know on my first BMW, there was a sensor that screwed into the block with a small o-ring. If that o-ring seal leaked and the oil ran down the engine it collected and dripped from the same area mimmicking a rear main seal leak. Part was like 30-40 bucks? This was on an E46 though. Not trying to sound stupid as I know yours is a newer motor, just didn't know if that aspect of the inline six design had changed. Needless to say I was relieved.

I just swapped my rear main seal, that looks just like the leak I had. The back of the oil pan also goes back there. So my guess is incorrectly installed rear main or your oil pan is leaking from the rear.
