aFe intake system + spacer fix!
Hey guys. I got a speeding ticket today and need to sell my intake in order to pay for it (well at least part of it). Honestly it was probably the reason I was speeding as it sounds so damn amazing! It fits an e90 without active steering Comes with.. a brand new oiled filter + maintenance kit Dry filter Spacer fix for maf issues. NO SURGING and NOT a defective intake like most others by aFe Pics upon request. The sound that comes out from this intake is absolutely amazing. It is a hefty and throaty growl throughout the rpm range of 2-6k and can even be mistaken for an exhaust. This DOES come with the spacer to fix the infamous surging issue. It is made from thick cut aluminum and is very high quality I am looking for 250 SHIPPED. Please PM me and I will respond in >10 mins tops. Thanks guys ![]() ![]() ![]() Orange is sealant for the spacer. Can be cleaned up easily just wanted to seal it pretty well ![]() Last edited by rich123321; 02-14-2013 at 04:12 PM. |

i had this exact same intake before and switched to the simota intake because the check engine light came on and my friend said the engine light is a misfiring code. The only time i felt a problem was on the cold start every morning, the car would vibrate a lot. Is this the what you are referring to as the surge? I love the sound of AFE so much better than the simota

Uhh, What exactly is the spacer made from? It looks like silly putty.
