Genuine 313s VS Replica 313s

Hi
Guys, I need opinion from those who have genuine or replica 313s.

From what I have gathered

Genuine 313:
Milking, rust is common problem
Rear is more concave compared to replica

Replica 313:
No milking or rust issues.
Saw a guy running them for 1 year with not cracks, bends
Rear is not as concave as OEM, but difference is very little.

Genuine sets are going for 1000 and replicas for the half price.

Will have to get the rubber for both which is another 700-800 if I go for a decent rubber. Or I can buy one with RFTs for 1500-1600.

Opinions?
Experiences?
Comments?

All Welcomed.

They must be genuine ! I have seen reps and genuine on cars and all reps looked like wheels from halfords(sorry it can be offensive for some).I'm not against reps coz got 359s from cmwheels but some of the styles just dont look right imo.

Night and day difference between reps and OEM. The milking issue is something which effects all diamond cut wheels.

Mate the originals are made by BBS, I'd choose them every time over the reps, have u phoned around ur local dealers. Quite a few forum members got brand new 313's plus bridgestones from dealers for £1200 or so just recently ?

on my previous 325i I replaced the mv3s with original 313s. I removed them to sell the car and when I decided to keep the car I fitted some replica 313s.
Everytime I looked at the replicas they did not look as goodzas the originals. There was very little concave on the reps and the colour was slightly different.
I would definitely go for originals but get rid of the runflats!

Genuine all day long. When replicas are fitted they just never look as good as the genuine ones.

Mate, don't even think about buying replicas..... they are not a patch on the genuine wheels

I actually purchased a brand new set from cw wheels on here.... I sold them on with out even putting them on the car!

The concave isn't the same, the quality is not same & neither is the finish!

Trust me, when I say..... don't go down the 313 replica route, you won't be happy!

I have always steered clear of reps. Was told a few years ago that heavier wheels (which reps usually are) can really affect performance, something about unsprung weight is the equivalent of adding more weight than your actually adding, if that makes sense.

Maybe someone with more knowledge than me will clarify

I had genuine for a couple of years, no rust, milking etc.
Never ran them in the winter though.

The "little" concave does actually make a big difference.

I appreciate where you all are coming from.
I found the right wheels at a reasonable price. They looked brilliant however on closer inspection ....

How long do you reckon they will last without milking? One season?

If you are going reps I'd buy the bbs lm from bm auto sport they look the nuts for 500 a set and I definitely would not buy Bridgestone tyres of any sort! I've had gen 313s fit years now and they are almost perfect but they do take looking after and def no winter use

Thanks mate.

Can anybody suggest what to do with the wheels above?
They are mint except the defect in the photo. All the wheels have RFTs 7-8mm tread left and agent of dealer wants 1400 for them.

Any good at that price?

Do you really want runflats? 1400 !I've seen cheaper here.

I do not want RFT, but they are included in the deal.
Probably I'll pass the deal.
