i haven't gotten one, but i've seen many mtech conversions on here that all look oem when they're not

mod bar gains is a pretty reputable company, i wouldn't be worried about it

just go for it!

Just installed JGMODs mtech rear. 100% OEM fit and finish..better actually so you do not have to change the rear guides like you do with the OEM. Auto body shop didn't even know it was not OEM..lol

I felt like you..I was like eeeh especially on crimson red..I was scared the black area would look unfinished or cheaper than stock..but when I saw it in person I was just like WOW,,, body shop guy said good choice. Pics don't do it justice

My recommendation is to paint the diffuser pieces satin black.. That's what I did. Basically shop owner did a few of these in OEM and the diffuser may be sitting around on the warehouse shelf somewhere and get a little dull. Since its an unfinished shiny plastic piece you may want to protect it from the elements a little even if yours comes perfect.

Garage List
2009 e90 335i  [3.20]
I bought one but I'm waiting for better weather to get it painted and mounted. I'll let you know once it is on...I've never had a problem with quality or any other issues from this vendor.

Is the painted part of your bumper flat? As in, no contour lines? From the photo, it doesn't look like the contour lines from the diffusor goes up through the bumper.
