Single Turbo Kit Interest Still?

Recently we have had a little bit of a break through with the tuning of the 335i. One of my good customers now has the ability to write directly to the ECU.



We started out with a stock remapping which is what i'm testing right now and daily driving is awesome. Our next step is see if we can get the o2 sensors to work in our favor. Others have put them pre turbocharger, my plan is to run them after turbo with a few tweaks. This project is still a ways out, but I wanted to see if we still had interest in this platform for another 335i single kit

Currently he is offering stage 1 tunes

I will keep you guys updated as we proceed with this adventure. We have the ability to build the turbo kit no problem, it's all about the tuning at this point.

Just an observation, but it looks far less capable than Cobb's ATP/ATR. Unless there are a lot of tables that are hidden from view for that screenshot.

Based on the slider position the screenshot shows a very small fraction of the tables.

We have access to every single table. Not just a few like the other software options available. It's literally every value on the ECU downloaded and converted from HEX into a value we can use and understand.

I wonder if PTF can get their hands on this WinOLS software and take it even further than with ATP.

Michael I am definitely interested in a kit if you make it reasonably fast, unlike hpf, and affordable. I would want the PTF guys to custom tune it once ready.

who cares about auto cars

It'd definitely be nice to have a different single turbo option, especially when backed with a powerful tuning solution like this!

I agree with Jazze90 though. It'd have to be significantly more powerful than hybrid turbos (lol HPF) and better priced than Vishnu IMO. Curious about you O2 sensor idea too.

Very interested still and if you can supply a tuning platform like this to go with it = success. After moving over from an evo 5 years ago its hard not to miss how much easier things were on that platform, but I really like where this is going :tup:
PS: not looking for some dyno queen kit either, I think most mature owners would agree that 500 wheel on pump makes for a great car.
