Comparison between an AA and a Muffler delete. The AA is my car and the muffler delete is my friends.

AA is definitely not as loud as a muffler delete, hence the extra resonator in place of the muffler. Why would you want an exhaust that is quiet?

I agree with you, my car gets pretty boomy 2k-2.5k. That is why I say that if you can't stand any drone then stay away from the AA and even more so the muffler delete.

Drone is subjective, that is why you won't find a definitive since it differs from person to person.
Drone is basically the sound/vibration in the cabin when you accelerate.

Too me drone isn't drone unless the cabin is vibrating and going uphill for a long time pisses me off. On flat roads I don't notice anything. In the end you won't make these NA cars louder than a stock '03-'06 v6 mustang with borla/magnaflow mufflers. The loudest I have had my car drone is with my 3in straight y-pipe and free flow muffler. And still not louder than a mustang. I've been meaning to get back to that set up and post videos for comparisons.
