Zero boost pressure.

I've had boost leaks in the past and been able to fix them but right now my car is making zero boost. I'm running procede and have been doing so for the last two years with no issues. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

wouldn't a smoke test be more for a car that doesn't make full boost such as 8psi instead of 15psi? Or could there be a large enough leak that would result in zero boost? Thanks again

for a leak that big you'd have a code

sorry, skimmed it too fast on my phone.

you have no codes at all?

ill get it scanned and post up the results. As of right now it doesn't have any SES. It went into limp mode once so it should have something in the DME.

Not much we can do here without seeing the car ourselves.

Underboost code is thrown when you are underboosting for 3-4 seconds consistent.

Check your intercooler and charge pipe connection, tighten them down as necessary.

Check common vac / boost lines and dont forget to check the boost tubes by the turbo's and the lines under the engine cover.

There is also a vac line to the intake manifold near the throttle body that some people forget.

Last but not least, update to the latest firmware and software with procede.

I had the same problem and it turned out that one turbo was toast!

However it may also be that a line has disconnected in the wastegate control circuitry. That would cause a wastegate to stay open and thereby no boost will build up. check especially the lines which go to the wastegates on the turbos (hard to access) and the ones below the vacuum canisters.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the replies.

These are the codes I pulled from the procede.
10775
11905
11906
12543
12003

I cant find the procede code conversion or I would have posted those up. I tried to download it from the Vishnu site but it wouldn't open properly.

Reference the link below for Vishnu PROCede Codes, how to read vishnu Procede Codes.

2A17 10775 DMTL diagnosis module tank leakage, system failure

30FF 12543 Exhaust fume turbocharger low side

2EE3 12003 Coolant temp sensor, plausibilty

Could not find info for 11905 or 11906. Call Vishnu on that.

Eitherway this shows you have a boost leak for sure.

I've got the same issue only my car sounds like shit on top of that. If I mash it hard I MIGHT be able to get 4-6PSI on a FBO car with JB4. Removed the JB4 and the car is still doing the same thing.

Also if I get on it you'll hear a drill bit sound as if the wastegate wasn't closing and allowing the turbo to spin but not compress. So basically no WOOOOSH sound

Check your vacuum lines and charge pipe. Its usually the culprit.

I actually had this same issue where i could only get 0psi of boost. Checked boost solenoids, put the car on a lift and checked the intercooler connections (solid as a rock) checked charge pipe, and I think thats about everything almost. I took it to my buddies place who is a genius when it comes to these N54's and turns out it was a vacuum leak for the wastegate canisters. The bottom vacuum line that connects to the canister was broken so the line wasnt on all the way then we took the engine bay cover off and looked at where the vacuum line thats right by the break booster line that sits right next to the ALWAYS HOT oil filter housing and it was so corroded and looked destroyed.
Long story short, I replaced all the vacuum lines with silicone lines instead of rubber lines. The high temps these cars get to rubber can only withstand so much. Did that about a year ago and havent had an issue since. But im betting its your vac lines for your wastegates

I am also having boost issues, I use to consistently get 16-18 psi of boost in the mid-range with e85 now I can see only see 5psi of boost going WOT. I replaced a few vacuum tubes that were going from the canister to the back of the oil cooler housing with no luck, should I do the all vacuum tubing? I am going in to my shop tomorrow and would like to give them a few suggestions.

It wasn't vacuum lines or charge pipe I'll update the board in a few days.
